West Racing Products, LLC
West Racing Products (WRP) is an engineering and manufacturing resource primarily for racing components. This ranges from small piece parts for the vehicle industry up to special design support for other businesses.
We primarily design racing components for motorcycles and
off road vehicles. Our ideas come from various sources. We may just notice something, while at the races, that is needed. Sometimes product design comes directly from customers who want something different but can not complete the task alone.
As a backbone to our designing we decided to invest in SolidWorks as our
CAD package. This software allows 3D part modeling, assembly of parts,
diagnostics of part features, etc. It also allows the fabrication of complete
drawing packages.
WRP offers the ability to take an idea and turn it into a functioning product.
This includes:
1. Modeling of parts and assemblies to ensure exact fitment.
2. Choosing proper materials for the applications. This selection includes heat treatment, special coatings, etc.
3. Making a product with manufacturability in mind. Our many years of machining experience is a great benefit.
Some of these parts are practical common parts. Examples include; air shifter brackets, custom mounting components, and other general accessories.
Some of the products are special test designs.
Examples include; special cylinder heads and valve train components, blow-through vacuum pumps, low-windage
oil systems, new exhaust technology, special chassis components etc. We are still expanding West Racing
Products every day.
